Jo Carol Pierce, legendary and one-of-a-kind singer-songwriter, monologist and performance artist (Bad Girls Upset by the Truth), brings her unconventional take on life and love to every media she works in.
Sharon Ely, celebrated performance artist and writer says, “Whatever I write about is total fiction, no matter if it is about the past or the future. But when I read it to you, it is the absolute truth, always.”
Isabella Russell-Ides, acclaimed playwright and poet, will read from her novel The White Monkey Chronicles. To paraphrase an early poem, “…she liked to think that she made art as an amusement, but this amusement took her whole life.”
Barbara Lightheart reads from her upcoming book set in the small town of Ranford, where Ola Rust reminisces about an old romance and braves a new one.
Holly Bell previews her 2017 Frontera Fest Short Fringe offering, Christmas with the Kaubells, an irreverent look at the evolution of holiday traditions, including food, family, and mug shots.
